The responsibilities of this position involve assisting the department merchandise manager in the implementation and maintenance of retail merchandise programs. Responsibilities include the administration of warehouse and drop shipment programs, assistance with proper production selection and the maintenance of member and retail pricing. This position also assists our retail member stores by responding to their questions and explaining programs. This position also is involved with the development and negotiation of promotional offers.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in marketing or business-related field, creative problem solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; must be computer proficient, especially with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; and must possess a high level of accuracy. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and able to prioritize and meet deadlines; must be able to compute ratios, rates and percents and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Retail sales or wholesale/distribution experience is helpful.
